The 2023 Tata Safari will be more or less similar to the model it will replace, so far as exteriors are concerned.

By Auto Today: Tata Motors is testing the 2023 Tata Safari. The new avatar of the sport utility vehicle (SUV) has been spied on on quite a few occasions. Now, fresh spy shots of the 2023 Tata Safari have emerged, confirming that the upcoming model will be equipped with advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) technology.

The latest spy shots reveal the ADAS kit mounted on the lower half of the SUV’s front bumper. The 2023 Tata Safari will be more or less similar to the model it will replace, so far as exteriors are concerned. No major tweak is expected in the grille or the headlamps. The rear would remain identical as well.

However, the 2023 Tata Safari could get some updates inside the cabin, including a new infotainment system, fresh upholstery, and even better dual-tone color outlay. Several reports have also claimed that a 360-degree camera could also be added to the vehicle’s feature list.

So far as powertrain options are concerned, the 2023 Tata Safari is expected to continue with its Kryotec 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine, which produces 170PS of maximum power and 350Nm of peak torque. The engine can be paired either with a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AT torque converter.

The Tata Safari price starts at Rs 15.45 lakh and goes up to Rs 23.76 lakh (ex-showroom). With the addition of new features, the 2023 model is expected to be priced much higher than the existing one.
